Learn to Quilt Part 1

From start to finish you will learn how to quilt in 3 lessons.  6 hours of instruction.  You'll learn how to piece a quilt by machine, learn fabric cutting tips, rotary cutting, 1/4" seam allowances, block assembly, borders, quilting and binding your quilt --- End the session with a beautiful finished quilt.

November 4th, 11th, 18th
6:30pm to 8:30pm
Due to the limited number of spots, you must be registered prior to the day of class.

$75 per person

Sewing Supplies:
Sewing machine with walking foot (must be in good operating condition)
1/4" presser foot (Very helpful if you have one) - All quilts are sewn using 1/4" seam.
Universal needle
Rotary cutter
Quilt Ruler (6" x 12" minimum)
Thread snips
Cotton thread to match

Materials: - Simple Table Runner
Pack of 5" squares (holiday or fall season themed if desired)
Pack of 2 1/2" strips - coordinate with 5" squares
3/4 yard backing fabric (back of the quilt)
NOTE: Batting will be provided

Skill Level: Intermediate
Skill Details: This class is for those with beyond basic sewing knowledge.
Requirements: Prerequisite: Learn to Sew class or beyond basic sewing knowledge.
